Asbestos Survey
AIM Environmental's personnel have successfully completed a myriad of asbestos inspections throughout a variety of facilities, including residential, commercial and industrial properties. A meticulous approach is implemented to each survey we conduct to ensure that the associated costs and overall project timeline are minimized to the greatest possible extent. We understand the survey is the first significant step in identifying potential asbestos-related hazards and that it will be utilized as a guiding tool for subsequent environmental safety measures. As such, it is our first priority to provide a comprehensive product, as well as the necessary guidance, in order to allow our clients to make informed decisions that are best suited for their specific situation.
Asbestos Management
Our goal is to provide our clients with a complete range of consulting services that allows us to see each project through from its inception in the design stage through the remediation activities and ultimately through the closeout documentation process. Our recommendation is to always involve an environmental consultant during the design phase of a project to ensure that the entire project team is aware of all the potential processes and additional lead times associated with environmental compliance so that unnecessary delays are avoided.
Following the completion of the initial step of an asbestos survey, there are usually several options available for addressing any given environmental health and safety concerns. Although abatement of identified asbestos materials is sometimes necessary, oftentimes encapsulation and enclosure is the most cost-efficient and safe path for a project to follow.
The heavy-handed approach of abating all asbestos materials identified is too often applied on many projects where it is simply not necessary and only serves to impede the overall project timeline and success. AIM Environmental prides itself on assessing all relevant project conditions and considerations in order to develop project-specific approaches that will meet regulatory compliance standards while maintaining our clients' overall project objectives at the heart of our program.
When the need arises to perform full remediation of potential environmental hazards, to facilitate large-scale renovation or demolition projects, our staff works closely with other trades to develop schedules and timelines that will integrate the abatement process as seamlessly as possible.
